The Story of Sempurna
I grew up with batik, watching my family craft each piece by hand. But over time, mass-produced prints replaced authentic batik. Many couldn’t tell the difference, leaving artisans struggling. I couldn’t just stand by.
I left my secure 9-to-5 job to pursue a dream. I wanted to elevate batik while supporting the artisans behind it. My goal was to blend heritage with modernity, keeping tradition alive in a meaningful way.
That’s why I created Sempurna. This isn’t just clothing. It is a legacy, a craft, and a future for Malaysian batik.
