"I grew up watching batik come to life, hand-drawn, dyed, and crafted with patience. As a second-generation artisan, I saw its beauty but also its struggles.
Many skilled artisans were being left behind as mass-produced prints replaced authentic batik. I could not just stand by.
I left my secure job to chase a dream. A dream to celebrate authentic batik, support local artisans, and give traditional craftsmanship a modern twist.
